The 2009 WWE Johnny Awards – Best & Worst Feud Vote

You should have gotten the hang of this now if you’ve voted the last couple of days. Pick three for each one. Judge a feud however you want. Michaels/Undertaker is the match of the year, but does one match constitute a feud or do you need to see more than that? It’s your choice. I’ll explain my choice in the column on Monday, which I haven’t even started yet. I’ve been having too much success on twitter lately with a certain woman named  Mickie James-Canton. Okay not really success, but it’s a start! Anyway, here are the polls. Too tired for an explanation. I think the categories are easy to understand.

Happy voting and I will post up something tomorrow, probably with emails I’ve gotten over the past week or so.  I may post some news & notes as well if I get time to put it together.

Best Feud

Worst Feud

I changed the upcoming ones a bit. I decided to take out worst on interviews and threw in a best Raw guest host category.

Thursday: Best on Interviews, Best Female
Friday: Best Raw Guest Host, Best and Worst PPVs
Saturday: Most Underused, Funniest Performer and The KNOCK THE FUCK OUT~ Award

Best: Jeff Hardy vs CM Punk BY FAR. I’m surprised HBK and Jibble hasn’t gotten more votes.

Worst: Swoggle vs Chavo. There really is no competition.

I voted for Chavo vs. Hornswoggle as best feud

Anything involving Chavo seems to be the worst this year..

Worst the chavowoggle debacle. Truly awful and a waste of a good talent. Him constantly being punked by the hosts as two. I put trump v vince as three as it made no sense at all.

Best easy jeff v punk. Shame he’s lost that momentum it seems. Jericho v Mysterio second as had to have him in there somewhere and michales v jbl third as it took something current and made a story out of it. Makes a refreshing change to see some thinking for a change.

I’m thinking that the worst feud actually was Matt vs Jeff. Considering how great it could have been! (And maybe what it should have been. I think they could have had the best matches on the card at WM XXV and Backlash, had they only had enough time and (perhaps) creative freedom.

Matt vs. Jeff would win “Most Potential”, but it wasn’t a bad feud. Not as bad as some of the others up there *cough* Chavowoggle *cough*

I agree with Jens on this one. Santina v Beth or Vickie? Chavo v Hornswoggle? Of course those were going to be brutal. The Hardy feud should have been good which makes its mediocrity stand out so much.

Punk/Hardy for me. Both men were essentially arguing their personality and lifestyles. You could believe it. Punk, much like Jericho, told the truth and got booed for it. The matches delivered, and Punk was elevated.

Can Chavoswoggle be both the best and worst feuds simultaneously?

orton vs. Triple H dissapointed because the matches never matched the intensity that the storylines dicated. CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy was the best feud no contest, three things, It elevated the World Heavyweight Championship back to respectablitiy, it turend Punk into one of the top three heels in the company, and Hardy cemented his legacy as one of the biggest fan favorites in a long time. The pops he got were amazing
