Fantasy Booking: Chris Jericho vs. Edge at WM26

With the rumors of Edge possibly returning at the Royal Rumble I decided to put my booking hat on to share my ideas on how to set up his heavily rumored match with Chris Jericho at WrestleMania. I was going to add more to it to carry it past Mania, but I think I went in enough detail here. It might be rough in some parts (verb tenses and things like that) although I think you’ll get the general ideas from the descriptions. This is how I would book this feud over the course of two months. Enjoy.

Smackdown 01/29 – Jericho cuts a promo saying he’s going to win the Royal Rumble and win back the World Title that is rightfully his. He can talk about how he was the Superstar of the year in 2008 and part of the tag team of the year in 2009, but in 2010 he will prove once again that he’s the best in the world at what he does. He goes on to say he’ll even throw out Big Show if he gets in his way. Finally, he mentions his old partner Edge, who is “nursing his little ankle sprain” at home. He says he hopes Edge is watching because seeing the weakness of troglodytes like Edge has made him an even better performer.

Royal Rumble 01/31 – Jericho’s in the match early. Let’s say #3. He’s in there with a bunch of midcarders, he’s in there with only Chris Masters who he dumps out right before the next entrant. He spends the next ten seconds yelling about how it’s too easy, nobody’s going to stop him. It’s time for #8. The pyro goes off and it’s Edge’s music. Huge pop. Crowd going nuts. Jericho going nuts. He stares down the aisle, no sign of Edge. He runs through the crowd (a salute to his original run as a babyface in the late 90s) and slides into the ring. Jericho turns around, he eats a spear. Edge pounds on his head on the mat as the place is going crazy. They get back, Edge has the upper hand again and backdrops Jericho over the top to the floor, eliminating him. Edge, still feeling the momentum, then springboards over the top (eliminating himself) onto Jericho with the crossbody. They brawl on the floor for a bit as officials separate them. Jericho can mouth words like, “you weren’t supposed to be here” while Edge can just do his goofy smile. The next entrant comes in and they can book the rest of the Rumble how they like.

After the Rumble, on WWE.com they post a video of Edge saying it was great to back. He says that even though he’s a Smackdown superstar he’s going to be on Raw the next night to talk about his return. On WWE.com, they can have a big advertisement saying “Edge speaks at the start of Raw and he will call out Chris Jericho.” Promote it heavy.

(My reasoning for having it on Raw is because people would be talking about it the next day and it would be better to have it open Raw the next night rather than do it on the taped show on Tuesday. It can be one of those special occasion type deals.)

Raw 02/01 – They run the pyro for the open. Immediately after, the ring announcer Justin Roberts brings out Edge, who is making his return to WWE after a 7 month absence. The crowd erupts, his pyro goes off and he comes out wearing street clothes. Some fans start a “welcome back” chant as he busts out his trademark smile with the giant teeth. He cuts a promo talking about all the pain he suffered when he tore his Achilles Tendon, but that recovery was easy because he loved performing for the WWE Universe (gotta get the buzz word in there) and made it his goal to make it back for the Rumble. He said once Jericho was alone in the ring he knew it was the perfect time. As he’s about to say more, Jericho’s music comes on. He storms down to the ring. As soon as he gets down to the bottom of the ramp, security comes out. William Shatner, the guest host that night, comes on screen to say that he wanted to restore order. He was the captain of Raw that night (an ode to Star Trek) and he knew there would be problems if they were in the ring together, so he made sure security was ready. Jericho says Edge is lucky he’s protected. He walks right into the ring. Security stands between them.

Jericho says that if Edge was a real man he would have walked down the aisle at the Rumble to face him like a man. Instead, he’s a coward just like all the fans that would rather hide than stand in the spotlight like him. Edge says that Jericho’s the coward because instead of telling the truth – that Edge injured himself in the context of the match – Jericho has been claiming for months that he had something to do with it.

Edge: “The truth is, Chris, you fear me. You fear me because you know deep down in that angry little black heart of yours that I am better than you. You know what the best part is, Chris? You know that every one of these people knows it too. It eats you up inside, doesn’t it?”

Jericho: “I fear no man. Not you, or any one of these people. You’re the kind of person that’s been sitting at home for seven months watching me dominate this company like I always do and wishing that one day you could be my partner again. Well guess what, Edge, I don’t need a partner. I don’t want a partner because 2010 is the year…again…of Chris Jericho because I am the best in the world…”

As he says that, Edge slips past one of the security guys and tackles him. He mounts him, then starts throwing punching all over. Crowd is eating it up. Suddenly, three of the security guys hold Edge back while the fourth lifts Jericho to his feet. Edge has a look on his face wondering what’s going on as Jericho grabs a steel pipe (or a tire iron) from under the ring. Edge gets held down, he finally breaks free and when he does Jericho attacks him from behind with the pipe (or tire iron) in the back of the surgically repaired left foot. Edge yells loudly. Jericho instructs the security guys to hold him down. He hits him again with the tire iron. He hits him three or four times consecutively as Edge yells at the top of his lungs. To finish it off, Jericho gets one of the security guys to fetch him a couple of steel chairs. He places one under the ankle and then uses the other to do the conchairto (Edge’s move as everybody knows) onto the ankle. Edge sells it big time, screaming at the top of his lungs. Jericho grabs the microphone and bends down towards Edge’s face.

Jericho: “I warned you, Edge. I told you to never come back here. Now, because of me, your career is over. Forever.”

Following the promo, he pulls out some money and hands multiple $100 bills to each of the security guys. The announcers put it over as saying Jericho outsmarted everybody even the guest host.

Back from commercial, we see Edge going into an ambulance as real security people haul Jericho off as he says to Edge: “Off to the hospital. Might as well be your second home.” The segment ends with Jericho smirking while Edge is taken away in the ambulance.

Smackdown 02/05 – The announcers say that Edge is out indefinitely. They don’t know if he’ll be back. Jericho comes out to say he warned Edge to not come back and that he guaranteed that he’ll never be back again. They also announce that Jericho’s a part of Smackdown’s Elimination Chamber match. I don’t know what the stips are in that match. Winner gets a Mania title shot maybe. Doesn’t matter. Jericho’s not winning.

Smackdown 02/12 – During the show they announce that next Edge will speak to Jericho via satellite from his home in North Carolina (he recently moved there). Jericho wins a match. He then says he looks forward to talking to Edge next week although he wonders if he won’t get injured just by moving his mouth.

Smackdown 02/19 – They do a satellite interview with Edge from his home. Jericho invites him to the Elimination Chamber PPV in St. Louis saying that he’ll buy him a front row ticket. He says that he wants him there so that he can watch him get one step closer to becoming a World Champion again since Edge will never get that opportunity again. Edge says he’s moving on crutches, but that he’ll be able to make it there and he promises Jericho that he’ll definitely see him this time.

WWE PPV Elimination Chamber 02/21 – During the EC match, Jericho’s the third person in. He dominates in spots. He works five or ten minutes, looking awesome. He keeps looking in the front row where he sees an empty seat. Edge never shows. Instead, we see Edge coming out with his crutches. He makes his way to ringside. Jericho gets pre-occupied with him and when the fifth guy comes out of a chamber, let’s say it’s Kane, he catches Jericho by surprise with a chokeslam on the metal outside of the ring. He then rolls Jericho back inside, only to be set up by Rey Mysterio’s 619 and Morrison’s Starship Pain for the pinfall loss. It would be all babyfaces going after Jericho. Edge smiles, then laughs and leaves. Mission accomplished.

Smackdown 02/26 – Jericho comes out all pissed off. He wants Edge now. Teddy Long comes out, says Edge isn’t in the building. Jericho’s furious. He says that Edge prevented him from winning the World Title two times and he’s had enough of it. He wants Edge at WrestleMania. Teddy says he can’t make that match because Edge’s doctor has to clear him in time for WrestleMania. Teddy says that Edge has an appointment next week and he has promised the WWE Universe (buzz word!) that he will be at Smackdown the following week to let them know his status.

Smackdown 03/05 – Teddy Long opens the show. He brings out Edge. He also brings out Jericho. He says if there’s any sort of physical altercation then both men will be suspended without pay for 90 days, which means you can’t even appear at WrestleMania. He asks Edge what the doctor told him.

Edge: “There’s good news and there’s bad news. The good news is my Achilles tendon injury is still a concern, but I will be able to compete again.” The crowd erupts in cheers. “The bad news is I have to wait. I won’t be medically cleared to compete until March 28th, the night of WrestleMania 26.” The crowd cheers again. “In other words Chris, I accept your challenge at WrestleMania.” More cheers.

Jericho smirks, although there’s a bit of fear in his expression too. To end the segment, Teddy Long says that between this point and WrestleMania 26 they will not be allowed to have any physical altercations or else the suspension without pay for 90 days will be applied. He ends it by saying next week they will make it official with a contract signing. The segment ends with each man nose to nose.

Smackdown 03/12 – Contract signing. They’re two of the best talkers in the business. Let them talk. They can bring up personal history like how they used to be neighbors in Tampa (I believe that’s true) for nearly a decade and how they were more than just friends in the business, they were like brothers. Each guy signs the contract. Jericho says there’s no way Edge is healthy enough to beat him while Edge says he guarantees a victory. He also says that even though he’s been a multi time World Champion, this is the most important match of his life.

Smackdown 03/19 – We see a training video of Edge. He’s not at the show that week. Show him running at the gym, maybe going up a hill in his neighborhood. Things like that. Do a four or five minute video package where he talks about how he blocks the pain in the leg because of the hatred he has for Jericho.

They can also have a training video of Jericho where he says he’s in the best shape of his life and he knows there’s no way Edge can beat somebody at the top of his game like him. He says maybe if Edge was at the top of his game he could squeak out a win, but with a bad ankle he’s got a huge target on his back.

Smackdown 03/26 – Jericho wins a match in dominant fashion looking as good as ever. Edge is on commentary. Post match, they have one more face to face interview as a final selling point of the match while never coming in contact.

WrestleMania 03/28 – They have a 17 minute match. Jericho is on offense for much of it. Every time he’s in trouble he goes for the left ankle. The crowd gasps during much of it. You can even have Jericho bust out the ankle lock one or two times. The story of the match needs to be Jericho going after the left ankle all the time only to have Edge fight out of it time after time. Eventually, Edge gets the upper hand and wins clean with the Spear as the crowd goes nuts for him. A 9 month return finally complete and the culmination of a 2 month storyline.

From there, I would save the rematches for a couple months down the road. Try to involve other people (maybe Christian vs. Jericho after he gets drafted to SD) and then come back to Jericho/Edge in the summer for Summerslam when one of them, hopefully Jericho, has a world title to make the rematches even more interesting.

Some of my reasons for the booking:
– It gives Edge time to really recover from the injury without rushing it. He can get his fitness back training in rings outside of WWE TV. Don’t put him on house shows, though. Have him work in private workouts and the two of them can get their chemistry down. They can mention his last match was in early July and this was late March, so it would be 9 months between real matches (the Rumble was only a brief thing, remember).

– It makes it more than just a singles match. Edge putting it over as the biggest match of his career will make fans really get behind him even more than they would have before. You have to sell the importance of the match to make people care about something that could be considered just another match on a stacked card.

– The “no touch” gimmick works because they will have gone two months without ever fighting, so when they actually do at WrestleMania it will mean that much more.

I think the rest is pretty self explanatory. Let me know what you think. I might do more of these in the future because you guys tend to like the fantasy booking stuff I do.

If you liked this remember there’s a petition already set up for me that you can view right here.

Thanks for reading.

Nice work, John…. I seriously can’t wait for Edge to return. WWW needs him back fit and ready to wrestle again.

But for me, I will go for Jericho winning Rumble, Taker holds title. At NWO, Jericho losses the Elimination Chamber Match, Undertaker holds title. Jericho challenges Taker for the title and his WM winning streak legacy at Mania. At Mania, Jericho came the closest to anyone to beat Taker (Ref was knocked out, he had Taker in the Walls of Jericho, Taker taps out)… until Edge returns! Spears Jericho! Clocks Jericho with the title & helps Taker retains his title and his legacy…

Then it will be the start of a ‘Rivalry of the year’ candidate straight to Summerslam, that and adding a few title matches & Christian possibility of choosing sides… Man, the possibility of this rivalry is endless to the wildest imagination…

Jericho winning the Rumble isn’t happening. I’d love it, but I doubt it.

I do think Edge/Jericho will be the feud of the year.

Send this stuff to wwe! Get a job, please!

    • January 24, 2010 at 12:50 PM

Ha, I wish there was a direct place I could send it to. It was a lot of fun to write and I’d enjoy watching it if it played out. Hopefully Jericho has a say in the booking of it because he knows how to come up with a feud.

Awesome job, man. Seriously, you write very competent, interesting storylines that still use the basic wrestling fundamentals good and evil. Of vengence and redemption. If you wanted to make Edge a top babyface, not only could you put over the fact that this injury was career threatening and highlight his road back, you could book him to be that “cool heel”. That’s what WWE needs. Someone who is cheered and a top draw, but who still kicks ass and makes no apologies for it. Still be The Rated R Superstar, but in a PG fashion. If that makes sense.

You definately have a talent in writing, John. Maybe you pursue a career in it. Work your way onto local Canadian TV and hopefully soon, with enough supporters, you could apply for WWE. As a matter of fact, I’m going to do my best to get a HIRE JOHN CANTON! sign on TV Feb. 1st. Maybe you other online friends will start doing the same. Could lead to more and more important and influential people reading your work. Excellent work, brother.

    • January 24, 2010 at 12:53 PM

Thanks man. And I’d love to see that sign on TV. You might want to leave the sign blank and then write it when you’re at your seat because they will probably take it away if they see it. They love to censor people with opinions.

This is pretty great. As usual you’re pretty much spot on. I like “no fighting”-clauses to a contract signing. It makes the match more interesting, and as you say mean more.

Only sad thing is; what if Edge isn’t ready for RR. But I guess it really doesn’t matter since this is fantasy booking.

    • January 23, 2010 at 10:41 AM

That’s the beauty of the angle, Jens. If Edge isn’t ready by the Rumble you’re not asking him to do too much. All he has to do is brawl with Jericho there and take no bumps. By the time Mania comes he’ll be ready to go from all accounts.

      • Jens
        January 23, 2010 at 1:20 PM

Yea of course. And it makes sense. If he can’t do a spear or plancha over the rope, he can always hit him with a chair.

    January 23, 2010 at 10:47 AM

Not bad. It would work. However, there is one major problem. You have completely overshadowed the winner of the Rumble. (This wouldn’t be a problem if H3, Michaels, or Horny wins, because lets face it, nothing can overshadow them.)

Why not turn Edge into the Jobber to the Stars and let Jericho return to the main event where he belongs? Hell you could let Edge either feud or tag with Christian and turn it into a ChavoSwoggle debacle. Can you tell I can’t stand either Edge or Christian and believe that they were forced on us for so many years that they have finally figured out how to be entertaining in the last 3 or 4 years? It is just a sign of how desperate the state of the WWE and wrestling in general are that Edge is even missed. I have to completely suspend my disbelief when watching Edge wrestle, because it is so obvious that he would have a tough time beating Horny in legit fight. Edge in a main event is a good reason not to buy a PPV.

But all of that being said, the WWE agrees more with your point of view. Your point of view would work pretty well unless the WWE Universe is now so young that they have forgotten who Edge is over the past year. He may come out to a dead arena. Edge has always worked well in tag teams. Maybe he could join forces with Evan Bourne to help the tag team division regain some legitimacy. They would make a good stepping stone team.

    • January 24, 2010 at 12:55 PM

They have not forgotten about Edge. 7 months is not that long. I wouldn’t worry too much about that.

  8. Jay
    January 23, 2010 at 11:33 AM

What to do if the young WWE Universe has forgotten Edge…..

Edge could resume his role as Vicki Gurerrerro’s boy toy. Lets face it, Cougars are en vogue at present. Edge could run around getting squashed for Vicki’s honor and doing her errands. This would expand Vicki’s role as a heel and let the younger audience become reacquainted with Edge. Turn Edge into a Kato Kalin type character. You could rename him “Cabana Boy” or “Towel Tucker.” He could start a feud with Chavo, because he folded the towels the wrong way, and Chavo could pull a Roddy Piper-Jimmy Snuka on Edge. This would go a long way toward reestablishing Chavo for a championship run. This would also teach Edge a lesson about getting hurt and being a malingerer. It works on so many levels.

Or Edge would make a great member of the Mr. McMahon kiss my ass club.

So many great ways to introduce Edge to the next generation of fans.

    • January 24, 2010 at 12:56 PM

I don’t think you have to introduce somebody that’s worked there for 12 years now. Seven months isn’t that long. The question is will they accept him as a face? I say yes because Jericho’s such a great heel, but there might be concern with that.

  9. Jay
    January 23, 2010 at 11:54 AM

Maybe Edge could become “The Number One Fan” for the Miz. He could follow the Miz out to the ring and charge up the crowd. He could cheer the Miz on to his next victory.

Or maybe he could decide to become “Straight Edge” C.M. Punk could shave his head and he could become Luke’s lacky or he could have a role like Sign Guy Dudley. The only problem here is that no one would ever believe he is straight-edge. But the name sells itself.

  10. Michael Ryne
    January 23, 2010 at 12:28 PM

Wow, Jay really does not like Edge ^^^^

Anyway, I love this John. I am actually a huge fan of Edge and think that this would be a great way to give him huge popularity and he’d be doing it without having to work on a bad ankle.
It’s kind of like how Stone Cold was still popular despite not being able to work with a bad neck.

    • January 24, 2010 at 1:03 PM

The key is to build the return. I would actually run more video packages than the one I suggested. I love WWE’s video packages.

  11. Jon
    January 23, 2010 at 12:32 PM

This is really well done. Hopefully, WWE Creative and Michael Haynes let Jericho write most of this feud, like he did with the Michaels feud. These two are two of the very best and will be able to get a crowd energized and attached. Moving forward..

Backlash: Edge wins the title clean vs the current champ (we’ll say Batista), his first babyface championship run.
Extreme Rules: competitive rematch with Batista… Jericho runs in with a chair KFTO’s Edge and gives Batista a conchairto… then drags the unconscious Edge over for a 3 count
WWE DRAFT: Christian is moved to SD.
The Bash: Jericho vs Edge (c) vs Batista, Jericho weasels out the win at the last minute stealing it from Edge.
July PPV: Jericho (c) vs Edge vs Christian, Jericho gets Vickie to try to screw Edge by not allowing him his rematch, but Teddy Long puts him in the match, Jericho steals another win. Christian appears as a tweener not trusting either men, who both look for his help, but leans heel.
Summerslam: After 2 months of screwing being screwed by Jericho, Edge wins a #1 contender’s battle royal, last eliminating Christian. Edge vs Jericho II commences, Edge has Jericho pinned for 3, but the ref is knocked out. Christian comes out to watch Edge is distracted and Jericho uses a low blow to get the win. This builds the rematch for another 2 months to spark interest for Summerslam.
Night of Champions: Jericho vs Edge vs Morrison, Morrison takes the belt off of both of them in a surprise win, getting his moment in the sun setting up..
HIAC: Jericho vs Edge III, their blood feud having reached saturation, they settle it in the Cell. (This gives an appropriate match for the HIAC gimmick). They are given 30 minutes to apply their craft. Edge spears Jericho through the wall (like he did with Taker) and they battle outside. Once back inside, the ref gets knocked out again, stopping Edge from getting a 3 count yet again. Christian walks out with a referee shirt on, Jericho uses a low blow once again… but in a huge swerve Christian gives Jericho a conchairto, Edge covers for the win. Edge and Christian hug as the PPV ends.

You get 3 singles matches built for the PPV’s they are needed for. You get a Morrison title win. You get a HIAC match that deserves to be in the Cell. You get Edge vs Christian vs Jericho. And you get an E&C reunion to cap it off, which lets them go after the tag titles… Jericho can whine about getting screwed and Morrison gets a title win without having to carry the show himself. Feud Morrison with Mysterio, Punk, and Jericho until the Rumble. Edge beats Morrison for the belt, Christian wins the Rumble… Feud of the year 2011.

    • January 24, 2010 at 1:23 PM

That was pretty damn great. The only issue is do we just assume Batista gets hurt because if he’s not hurt he’ll be in the title picture. Let’s just assume he tears something. I think that’s a safe assumption!

          January 26, 2010 at 2:54 AM

Also, you feud Morrison with Batista until NoC to get him prepped for his main event run… Batista can bitch about Morrison getting star treatment that he deserves.

  12. Jericho
    January 23, 2010 at 3:58 PM

I still think it would be better if Edge actually wins the rumble, with his usual “opportunistic” methods. For example, at number 12 Edge’s music hits, no one enters the ring, everyone is confused. Time goes by and before you know it, people will forget about Edge. When the last one in the ring, which if of course Jericho, throws out Big Show to “win” the rumble, Edge comes from under the ring and throws Jericho out of the ring, for the victory.

Then Jericho will win the World Title at the Elimination Chamber, and Jericho will force Edge to force Edge to fight him for revenge. Or something along those lines.

To be honest, all I want to see happen is that thing with at the Rumble, how Edge will win it and piss off Jericho.

    • January 24, 2010 at 1:26 PM

I would not complain if Edge won the Rumble. I just don’t think it’s going to happen.

    January 23, 2010 at 4:57 PM

I loved that you made this for my all time favorite wrestler, Edge. I’m a bit sad though. Your fantasy booking is so good that I might be disappointed with what WWE comes up with. You need to become a special writer for WWE for this feud only. I’ve no complains. Everything were set up great and I cannot wait to see Edge back! :D Another way this could be done is to have Edge win the RR. I get why you didn’t went with that though. There are more people who needs the win. Edge could do with or without it.

    • January 24, 2010 at 1:38 PM

Yeah I’d love for him to win the Rumble, but I doubt it happens. Let it be about taking Jericho out and setting up the Mania match. You can put the title on Jericho after Jericho and then their feud can pick up in the summer. It has so much potential.

Good work. Nice way to make sure the performers are healthy, and keep the wwe “universe” interested. It’s neat to see you did your homework too. Jericho and Edge used to be neighbors? You learn something new everyday. I like the idea of the training videos from both sides. Sure we’ve seen promos of face stars achieving their dreams, but a heel training video is fresh. It’s a great storyline, but I hate spoilers, so if it really plays out like this… DAMN! I’d rather not know. Keep fightin’ the good fight.

    • January 24, 2010 at 1:39 PM

I remember Jericho commenting on being neighbors with Edge in Tampa. Edge has moved to North Carolina now. (I know somebody that knows him well since high school.)

The training videos are key. And WWE produces awesome videos as we know. They’d be useful in building up Edge’s return for sure.

I really hate reading your booking ideas. They’re so well conceived and entertaining they make the stuff on TV look even worse. Kinda like going to a great steakhouse and smelling the food without actually tasting it, then getting home and popping open a can of Spam…

Edge v. Jericho done right would be $$$. Much like Shawn Michaels, either of those two guys could wrestle a pushbroom in the ring and have a 5 star match, but together? Amazing potential there.

Let’s hope WWE doesn’t blow it.

    • January 24, 2010 at 1:42 PM

Yeah, so much potential. I always laugh when people say they hate my booking because it’s good. Backhanded compliments rule!

Dude you are very talented when it comes to writing about the WWE. If any of your storylines were to come true I would start watching Raw/Smackdown again but they hardly keep my attention because its the same crap over and over again and they are afraid to try something new. Plus they are so fickle with the talent that whenever I start to like someone they bury them. Keep up the good work John!

    • January 24, 2010 at 1:43 PM

Thanks a lot, glad you like it. I would say give Smackdown a try because it’s a good show most weeks.

Twitter this article to Jericho and see what HE thinks – if Edge is genuinely healed enough to return and Creative push for the Jericho/Edge feud it’s likely that Jericho will be heavily involved in writing anyway.

    • January 24, 2010 at 12:35 PM

Good call. I sent it to him on Twitter. I don’t expect him to read it, but that would be such an honor.

I can see Jericho smirking and saying, “that’s if he doesn’t get injured just by moving his mouth.”

Maybe if in Edge’s return promo he subtly mentions that he was a heel for years (and one of, if not the, the best ever), “Look, I know we’ve had our differences over the years (speaking to the *ahem* WWE Universe *cough, cough*), and I know I’ve done some things that may have made me look like a bad guy. But here’s something I think we can all agree on, that it feels pretty damn good to beat up on Chris Jericho (crowd pops). And if we can all agree that beating up Chris Jericho is a good thing, well I think you’ll all start seeing me a little differently from now on.”

I love that storyline build. I heard Edge will return, it is like a 95% guarantee now. I love how you have Jericho dominating the Rumble, because he should. Then out of nowhere Edge coming out, that’s great! You should really try to send in your match bookings to WWE. This is the only one I’ve read, but it’s great. They always have some rule where they can’t touch eachother or they’ll get suspended. They did it for WM 21 with John Cena and JBL. But, I agree that Edge should need more time to heal up from the injury. It is an awesome storyline build up, keep at it. I would definately watch Smackdown every week if the storyline happened like that. Keep doing the fantasy bookings, they’re great! I can’t wait to see that match at Wrestlemania live!! They are two of the most talented guys in WWE! Their past matches have been good, this one will be a match of the year candidate for sure!
