5-Star Match Reviews: Mitsuharu Misawa and Jun Akiyama vs. Toshiaki Kawada and Akira Taue – December 6th 1996, by Alex Podgorski

August 11, 2020 Leave a comment

But King’s Road wasn’t limited to the famed Four Pillars of Heaven; others were involved as well. This match showcased the newest top-tier AJPW star, and answered the question of whether he belonged in the same conversation as that legendary quartet or not.

August 7, 2020 Leave a comment

Welcome to another WWF in 2000 review as the WWF was just three weeks away from SummerSlam. The previous week’s Raw had a huge crowd at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta and then this episode of Raw had a big feel to it since it was the World’s Most Famous Arena known as Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Garden Raw’s were always a big deal. They had some big matchups on this show.

August 7, 2020 Leave a comment

Welcome to the AEW Dynamite review on TJRWrestling. I’m going with the shortened format for this where I summarize the matches rather than play by play and you still get the usual ratings/analysis. I’ll go full play by play for the main event. This episode was taped last Thursday.

August 6, 2020 Leave a comment

Welcome to the WWE NXT review here on TJRWrestling. My apologies for not doing a review last week. Life got busy and I just didn’t have time. It was just an average show. As usual for my NXT reviews, I will be doing a summary of matches and segments along with the analysis/star ratings for every match. I’ll go with a play by play format for the main event match.
